Tender beef patties slow-cooked with mushrooms in a rich, creamy mushroom gravy.

⏱️ Prep Time: 10 minutes
🔥 Cook Time: 4–5 hours on LOW or 2–3 hours on HIGH
🍽️ Servings: 6

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 lb (900 g) raw ground beef, shaped into 6 oval patties
  • 8 oz (225 g) fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz / 298 g) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) butter
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Shape the raw ground beef into 6 thick oval patties.
  2. Arrange the patties in the slow cooker.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms over and around the patties.
  4. Spoon the condensed cream of mushroom soup over the beef.
  5. Pour the beef broth around the sides.
  6. Drizzle with Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Add the butter in small pats and sprinkle with black pepper.
  8. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the patties reach at least 160°F (71°C).
  9. Serve one intact patty with creamy mashed potatoes and spoon the creamy mushroom gravy and tender mushroom slices over the top.

💡 Tip:
Do not stir during cooking. This keeps the patties intact while the mushrooms soften naturally into the gravy.
