⏱️ Prep Time: 10 minutes
🔥 Cook Time: 4–5 hours on LOW or 2–3 hours on HIGH
🍽️ Servings: 6
🛒 Ingredients
- 2 lb (900 g) raw ground beef, shaped into 6 oval patties
- 8 oz (225 g) fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can (10.5 oz / 298 g) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ¾ cup (180 ml) low-sodium beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons (28 g) butter
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
👩🍳 Instructions
- Shape the raw ground beef into 6 thick oval patties.
- Arrange the patties in the slow cooker.
- Add the sliced mushrooms over and around the patties.
- Spoon the condensed cream of mushroom soup over the beef.
- Pour the beef broth around the sides.
- Drizzle with Worcestershire sauce.
- Add the butter in small pats and sprinkle with black pepper.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the patties reach at least 160°F (71°C).
- Serve one intact patty with creamy mashed potatoes and spoon the creamy mushroom gravy and tender mushroom slices over the top.
💡 Tip:
Do not stir during cooking. This keeps the patties intact while the mushrooms soften naturally into the gravy.
