🛒 Ingredients

  • 1½ lb (680 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1½ lb (680 g) baby red potatoes, halved
  • 4 ears corn, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 lb (450 g) fully cooked smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 small yellow onion, cut into wedges
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups (360 ml) low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp (42 g) butter, melted
    👩‍🍳 Instructions
  1. ADD THE POTATOES
Place the halved baby potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. ADD THE VEGETABLES
Add the onion wedges and minced garlic.
  3. ADD THE SAUSAGE AND CORN
Layer the sliced sausage and corn pieces over the potatoes.
  4. ADD THE LIQUID
Pour the chicken broth evenly around the ingredients.
  5. SEASON
Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt evenly over everything.
  6. SLOW COOK
Cover and cook on HIGH for about 3½–4½ hours or LOW for 6–7 hours, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  7. ADD THE SHRIMP LAST
Switch the slow cooker to HIGH if needed.
Add the shrimp over the cooked ingredients, cover, and cook for about 15–20 minutes, just until the shrimp are pink, opaque, and gently curled.
  8. FINISH
Drizzle the melted butter over everything and gently toss to coat with the flavorful cooking juices.
    Serve immediately while hot.
    💡 TIP:
Always add the shrimp at the very end. They cook quickly and can become rubbery if left in the slow cooker too long.
