Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork
Tender pork shoulder slow-cooked until fall-apart soft and coated in a rich, smoky-sweet barbecue sauce.

π Ingredients
- 3β4 lb (1.4β1.8 kg) boneless pork shoulder
- 1Β½ cups (360 ml) BBQ sauce
- ΒΌ cup (50 g) packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
- Pour the BBQ sauce evenly over the pork.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce and minced garlic.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8β10 hours or HIGH for 5β6 hours, until the pork is very tender.
- Check that the pork is safely cooked through; for easy shredding, pork shoulder is usually most tender around 195β205Β°F (91β96Β°C).
- Shred the pork with two forks and gently mix it with the cooking sauce.

Pork shoulder works best because its fat and connective tissue keep the pulled pork juicy during long cooking.
