Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Soft, golden dough with rich buttery flavor
  • Fun pull-apart presentation, perfect for sharing
  • Easy to prepare using store-bought pizza dough
  • Customizable with different seasonings or dipping sauces

Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • 2 (12-ounce) packages mini chicken or beef cocktail sausages, patted dry
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • A small pinch of salt
  • A small pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Flour, for rolling and cutting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease the inside of an 8-inch springform pan with cooking spray or oil and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and set aside.
  3. Lightly flour your work surface. Remove the pizza dough from the tube and gently unroll it onto the floured surface. Press or roll it slightly to form a neat rectangle.
  4. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into small strips approximately 1 inch by 2 inches.
  5. Brush the dough strips lightly with the seasoned butter mixture.
  6. Wrap each mini sausage with one strip of dough, overlapping slightly and pinching the seam to seal.
  7. Stand each wrapped sausage upright in the prepared springform pan. Arrange them close together but not tightly packed. Tilting the pan slightly as you work can help keep them standing.
  8. Once the pan is filled, brush the remaining butter mixture generously over the tops of the dough.
  9. Place the springform pan on a baking sheet to catch any butter drips. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
  10. After 30 minutes, loosely cover the pan with foil to prevent over-browning and continue baking for another 20–25 minutes, or until the dough is fully cooked and golden.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before releasing the springform pan.
  12. Serve warm with dipping sauces such as ketchup, mustard, or marinara sauce.

Serving Tips
