Beef Broccoli with Noodles

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 large carrot, peeled and thinly sliced
- 8 oz egg noodles or spaghetti
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the Noodles
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the noodles and cook according to package instructions (7–9 minutes).
- Drain and set aside.
2. Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth.
- Stir until the cornstarch is fully dissolved and the sauce is smooth.
3. Cook the Beef
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced beef and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned and just cooked through.
- Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
4. Sauté the Vegetables
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli and carrots. Cook for 4–5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
5. Combine Everything
- Return the beef to the skillet with the vegetables.
- Pour in the sauce and stir well to coat.
- Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
6. Add the Noodles
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the top and toss everything together to combine.
7. Final Seasoning
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
