Ingredients

For the Beef:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

For Assembly:

  • 12 slider buns, split
  • 12 slices American cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced pickles
  • ¼ cup diced onions

Special Sauce (Shortcut Version):

  • ⅓ cup Thousand Island dressing (adjust to taste)

Optional Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Season and Cook the Beef:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to evenly distribute the seasonings.
Press the beef into a thin, even layer on the prepared sheet pan, reaching the edges.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  3. Make the Special Sauce:
In a small bowl, stir together the Thousand Island dressing (or your own Big Mac sauce variation) until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
  4. Assemble the Sliders:
Once the beef has cooled a bit, cut it into 12 squares to match the size of the slider buns.
On the same or a clean sheet pan, place the bottom halves of the slider buns. Top each with a square of beef and a slice of American cheese.
Spread the special sauce on the inside of the top buns, then place them over the cheese.
  5. Melt the Cheese:
Return the sliders to the oven for 5–7 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and the buns are warmed through.
  6. Add Fresh Toppings:
Remove from the oven and carefully lift the top buns. Add shredded lettuce, diced pickles, and onions on top of the melted cheese. Replace the bun tops.
  7. Optional Garnish:
For that classic Big Mac look, brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.

Serve and Enjoy

Serve your Big Mac Sliders warm for maximum flavor. These are great for parties, potlucks, or a fun weeknight meal. Want to make them even more special? Serve with crispy fries or onion rings on the side.
