Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of cooked tapioca
  • 1 cup of cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup of milk or water
  • 2 mashed bananas (preferably ripe)

Measurements:

  • 1/2 cup – 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • 1 cup is – 1 cup (240 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon – 1 tablespoon (approximately 15 ml)

Instructions:

First, break the egg into a bowl and beat until foamy. Then add the mashed banana, cornmeal, tapioca and baking powder.

Then mix everything together very well and gradually add the milk until you have a uniform dough. Now pour the batter into a center-hole pan that has been greased with margarine.

Then cover the pan with aluminum foil or a lid and place it directly on the stove over medium heat.

After 30 minutes, unmold the cake, place it in a pan and return to the heat for another 10 minutes.
