Strawberry Cheesecake Trifle
Ingredients:
For the Cream Cheese Filling:
- 2 8-oz packs of cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons almond extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Whipped Cream:
- 1 pint whipped cream
- 6 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Rest:
- 1 angel food cake
- 4 cups fresh raspberries mixed with thinly sliced strawberries (you can use any berries you want)

Preparation:
- Allow the cream cheese to mellow at room temperature and place it in a bowl.
- Add powdered sugar, almond extract, and vanilla, and mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the whipped cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until solid peaks form.
- Assemble the trifle by placing a layer or broken pieces of angel food cake at the bottom of a serving dish, followed by a spread of the cream cheese mixture.
- Top the cream cheese layer with berries, then spread the whipped cream over the berries.
- Repeat the layers and finish with whipped cream on top, garnished with raspberries.
- Allow it to rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. (The longer it sits, the better it tastes, so ideally make it the night before.)
- Serve chilled by scooping it into dessert glasses.
