Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Cheesy Pasta
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 ounces pasta (e.g., rotini or your choice)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Boil water in a large pot with a pinch of salt. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Sear the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Allow it to simmer for a few minutes.
Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary.
Combine Pasta and Sauce:
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
Serve:
Slice the chicken and serve alongside the cheesy pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
Enjoy your creamy garlic Parmesan chicken with cheesy pasta!
