Ingredients
For the Steak and Shrimp:
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Pasta and Sauce:
- 8 oz pasta of your choice (e.g., fettuccine, linguine, or penne)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Sear the Steak Bites
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites, season with salt, black pepper, and paprika, and cook for 4–5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Sauté the Shrimp
In the same skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp and minced garlic. Cook for 3–4 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4: Prepare the Sauce
Reduce heat to medium. Add the butter to the same skillet and let it melt. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5: Combine and Serve
Return the cooked pasta, steak bites, and shrimp to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated in the sauce and heated through.
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
