Ingredients (Makes 16 squares)

  • 1 (14 oz / 400g) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 2 tbsp (28g) butter, plus more for greasing

Optional mix-ins:

  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

1. Prep the Pan

Grease a small 8×4-inch loaf pan with butter and line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.


2. Melt Ingredients

In a saucepan over low heat, add the condensed milk, sifted cocoa powder, and butter. Stir continuously for about 5 minutes until completely smooth and glossy.

Tip: Add 1 extra tbsp of butter for a shinier finish.


3. Pour & Chill

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or place in the freezer for 30 minutes for quicker setting.


4. Slice & Enjoy

Once firm, lift the fudge out using the parchment. Cut into 16 squares. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
