Ingredients

  • 4 beef chops (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for optional browning)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
  • Mashed potatoes or your favorite side, for serving

Instructions

1. Optional: Brown the Chops

This step adds extra flavor and texture, but you can skip it if you’re short on time.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season beef chops with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

2. Prepare the Slow Cooker

  • Place the beef chops in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the ranch seasoning, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pour the sauce evenly over the chops.

3. Cook Low and Slow

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the meat is fork-tender.

4. Serve and Enjoy

  • Carefully remove the beef chops and plate them.
  • Spoon the creamy ranch-mushroom sauce generously over the top.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite vegetable side.

Tips & Variations

  • Swap the soup: Try cream of chicken for a lighter, slightly sweeter flavor.
  • Add veggies: Toss in sliced mushrooms or baby carrots before cooking for a complete one-pot meal.
  • Make it spicy: Add a pinch of cayenne or crushed red pepper to the sauce mix for a little kick.
