Cinnamon-Sugar Crescent Roll Pizza

This delicious cinnamon-sugar pizza is made with flaky crescent roll dough, topped with a buttery cinnamon-sugar mixture, and drizzled with a sweet vanilla glaze. It’s the perfect treat for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon snack!

Ingredients:

For the Pizza:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

For the Icing:

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan to prevent sticking.
2. Prepare the Dough:
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Gently press the dough into a large rectangle or circle, ensuring an even thickness.
  • Pinch the seams together to create a smooth, solid base for your pizza.
3. Add the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
  • Brush the entire surface of the dough evenly with the melted butter.
  • In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Generously sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered dough, covering it evenly.
4. Bake the Pizza:
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
5. Prepare the Icing:
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • If the icing is too thick, add a few more drops of milk; if too thin, add a bit more powdered sugar.
6. Drizzle and Serve:
  • Using a spoon or piping bag, drizzle the icing in zigzags or swirls over the warm cinnamon-sugar pizza.
  • Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing into 8 equal pieces.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Recipe Notes:

  • For extra crispiness, bake the dough 1-2 minutes longer until deep golden brown.
  • Want more flavor? Add a pinch of nutmeg or a drizzle of honey on top.
  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an indulgent dessert.
