Ingredients:
What You Need for a Low-Carb Amish Hamburger Steak Bake
85% lean ground beef, 1 pound
Almond flour, 1/2 cup
a single big egg
One teaspoon of garlic powder
onion powder, measuring 1 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon of salt
black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon
oil from olives, 2 teaspoons
low-sodium beef broth, measuring 1 cup
0.5 cups of thick cream
A teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
Chopped cheddar cheese, measuring 1 cup
8 ounces of sliced mushrooms One medium-sized onion
Instructions:
Start by getting your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
Second, in a big basin mix together the almond flour, ground beef, egg, onion and garlic powders, salt, and pepper. Make sure to mix everything until it’s properly combined.
Make four patties of similar size from the ingredients.
- In a big skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Brown the patties on all sides, which should take around 4 minutes after adding them to the pan. Lay the patties aside after removing them.
- Sauté the mushrooms and sliced onions for around 5 minutes, or until they become soft and golden.
- Return the burgers to the pan and add the mushrooms and onions. Top with the Worcestershire sauce, heavy cream, and beef broth.
- Evenly distribute the grated cheese over the veggie patties.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is browned and bubbling, after transferring the pan to a preheated oven.
Enjoy!
