Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients:

1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed
1 lb spaghetti noodles (adjust quantity based on family size)
6-8 cloves garlic, minced (adjust according to taste)
1/4 cup butter
Olive oil (3 drizzles)
Italian seasoning, to taste
Fresh ground pepper, to taste
Red pepper flakes, to taste
Salt, to taste
Fresh herbs (according to taste, for boiling pasta and seasoning)

Instructions:

Boil Pasta: In a large pot, boil water and cook spaghetti noodles until tender. Add salt, a few drizzles of olive oil, and fresh herbs to the boiling water. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water for later use, then drain the pasta and set aside.
Prepare Shrimp: While the pasta is boiling, rinse the shrimp and set aside.
Cook Shrimp: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they start to turn pink and begin to curl.
Add Garlic: Introduce minced garlic to the skillet and continue to cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until the shrimp are fully pink and curled.
Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the shrimp. Drizzle with olive oil and add Italian seasoning, fresh ground pepper, red pepper flakes, and salt to taste.
Adjust Consistency: Gradually add the reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency of the sauce, ensuring the pasta is well-coated but not swimming in liquid.

Toss and Serve: Continue to toss all ingredients in the skillet until everything is thoroughly combined and heated through. Serve hot.
