HAWAIIAN GRILLED TERIYAKI CHICKEN FEAST

Ingredients:
For the Teriyaki Marinade:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp rice vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch (for thickening, optional)
For the Chicken:
4-6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 tbsp olive oil (for grilling)
Pineapple slices (for grilling, optional)
Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions:
Make the Teriyaki Marinade:

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
If you want a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with 2 tbsp of water and stir into the marinade.
Marinate the Chicken:

Place the chicken thighs in a large ziplock bag or shallow dish.
Pour half of the teriyaki marinade over the chicken and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for best flavor). Reserve the other half of the marinade for basting.
Grill the Chicken:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and brush with olive oil.
Grill the chicken thighs for 6-8 minutes per side, basting with the reserved teriyaki sauce, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
If desired, grill pineapple slices alongside the chicken for 2-3 minutes per side.
Serve:

Garnish the grilled teriyaki chicken with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve with grilled pineapple slices and steamed rice for a complete Hawaiian feast.
